The past two weeks I have been receiving a call from Dumont, NJ. I finally answered today and I was surprised to hear that I won a $100 shopping gift card redeemable at Wal-mart, Target, or a few other retail chains. With the 'this is too good to be true' attitude, I was skeptical about this offer. First red flag, the man had a foreign accent. Second red flag, at the end of the call he asked for my credit card info to pay a $1 shipping fee... With my refusal, he handed the phone to his 'supervisor' who just happened to conveniently be right next to him... I asked two simple questions; 1. Where is this company located, and 2. What is the name of the company? He informed me that it was located in CA and the companies name is American Savings. If they are located in CA, why are they calling from a NJ number? AND American Savings Bank is located in Hawaii.. After my second refusal, I was told that I can use any credit card, an old credit card, an expired credit card... This is an obvious attempt to get my personal banking information.

If you WON a FREE GIFT CARD, you are not responsible for paying shipping and handling. STAY AWAY. They are illegally attempting to get your personal banking information.
