Today I received a call from A Eustin Parker representing himself as a representative from the US Federal Grant Department and their phone is # 202 470-1647.
He said that I had been selected to receive a $9200.00 grant. I was told that I had to go get a Green dot money packet and put $300.00 on it and that they would fund the grant and that I would get the grant put on my Green Dot card with in 15 minutes of the receiving the funds on the card. I told them that I had only $100.00 and he told me to complete that and go to the bank to get my funds.
When I arrived I called them back and told them that I was at the bank. He told me that they had run into a problem and transferred me to a Catherine Parker and she told me that she could not process the grant with the remainder of the $300.00. I took $200.00 out of the ATM and had to by another green dot money packet before they could complete my grant.
I sent them the $200.00 and was told that they were processing my grant and it would take 15-20 minutes. After 20 minutes on hold on the phone with her she came back and said that I now had to speak with her Supervisor to finish the paperwork to get my grant released. I was transferred to a Lisa Martin, she informed me that I had to pay another $500.00 to the State of Virginia and that $300.00 had already been forward to the States Attorney General's office.
I told her that I could not get the money because I had a $500.00 daily limit on my ATM card. She said that I needed to go do the process again and called them with the green card #. I told that I just wanted my $300.00 back and she said that was not possible because the money has already been transferred to the State Attorneys office. She said that she would hold my paperwork until tomorrow when I could send them the remainder of the money.
This is still ongoing, I believe that it is a total scam and I want to report it while it is still active. I would like help and guidance how to proceed from here as I do not have the $500.00, I truly could not afford the $300.00 that I have already spent.
I want my $300.00 back.
