He called and said he was calling from Windows. He said my computer was being hacked and that I did not have proper security. He then said Windows could correct my problem and give me adequate security over the telephone. like a fool, I believed him and opened my computer where he did an "analysis" and made what he said were necessary changes and claimed to have installed an adequate security program. I then paid him $149.99 through Pay Pal. The end result was that his action locked me out of my computer, causing my having to completely reinstall.

I just got a call, I am on national do not call list. I told him that. He proceeded to tell me it was very important information about my computer from Microsoft. I said, bull crap, I don't have a computer, which I don't. Told him I am on national do not call list and hung up on him.
