Wallmart or target phone scam
Aug 05, 2014
I got a call from an unknown number (see above) on Friday. I returned the call, and was promised a $100 gift card for at either Wallmart or Target to arrive Monday or tuesday. They asked for all my debit card (visa) information to bill me $4.95 for shipping. They gave me a password (auto discounts), a PIN number and a phone number to call :866-901-5917. I looked up that number and it belongs to an auto discount company. This all makes me suspicious. I then contacted my bank and cancelled my card to be on the safe side.
