Caller informed me I have A $150 rebate (later changed to $200) and took control of my computer. He then, after I was stupid enough to give him my bank account data, credited my account with $2000 instead, he said, of $200. He then wanted me to run out and obtain $1700 worth of iTunes gift cards(?) and scratch of the numbers and read them off to him on my cell phone. In short, I refused and he threatened to remove all my check account cash and freeze my computer if I didn't follow his orders. I hung up on him and had to open a new checking account. He did, however, freeze my computer and I had to take it to Best Buy for repair. Guy gave me his name as Mark and located in Los Angeles. Thank you.Show more...
