Received call indicating tech support from Dell had detected over 26,000 viruses and the computer would shut down. They would clear all for $299.00 for 12 months. Advised that I could not pay this. I really needed to use my computer, I paid $25.00 and advised I would pay the remaining in 2 wks. I advised that I am 72, living on a fixed income. I was not pleased because it took them 3 day to finish, resulting in losing a job because I did not have access to my computer. I have advised that I am not paying. They removed whatever they cleared and I can not open email attachment and my computer is closer than before.
