A-best auto parts used to be Superior Used Auto Parts. They sold me a broken engine that won't even run for more than 15 minutes on the road. Business lied about the condition of the engine and declined to provide VIN number of the vehicle. Business tells customers that cars have been demolished and VIN is not available. Business has a process to scam people and make it nearly impossible to issue a refund or honor guarantee.Show more...

I bought an engine from A Best Auto Parts for a 2002 Highlander Toyato, four wheel drive. They sent me an engine for a two wheel drive. They are not interchangeable. My mechanic put the engine in the car before he discovered it was the wrong engine. I notified the A Best Auto Parts of their mistake and they said the would bring up the right engine and take back the wrong engine. They sent a truck to pick up the first engine but did not bring the right engine. I called them and asked them why the did not bring the engine, and trey said they did not have one. They asked for a little time to find the engine but with no luck. I called to find out the status of the search and was told they could not find the right engine. I then told them that they needed to give me back my money plus the additional cost of the initiation of the wrong engine, after all that expense was the result of their mistake and they needed to cover that cost of an extra 400.00 dollars. I had to pay the mechanic that extra money. At that point, Mr Murillo told me that would never happen and hung on me. That is the last time he would take any of my calls. He nows owes me 2,100.00 dollars. I will just say if it is that easy to defraud someone there is something wrong with the whole system. Please help me. James K. BarrettShow more...
