I had a problem with gambling and began taking out several payday and installment loans from 11/15- 6/16. My finances were a mess and I was confused. So, when I got an e-mail from ACS debt recovery threatening to sue me for a loan I had taken out and not paid back. ACS representing multiple loan sites. The state that I had to pay 964.52 or have court papers tomorrow for field in 24 hours and then, I would owe 2873.81 plus. I paid them the 964.52 that day. I have the receipt and settlement which is confusion. figure it was settled even though I told them I never defaulted and ask for details but they would not provide any just threats. I pd it was done. Righ? No, they sent another threatening e-mail letter 8/16. I wrote then told that I had a settlement and that I have not taken out any online installment loans. they just sent another letter threatening me, my credit, court, fines, lawyers unless I pay 964.52 a fraction of the total of 2873.81. They stole 964.52 dollars because I checked my bank statements I never received any loans that I did not pay back. So, either some they are the thief or they loaned money to a thief and are holding me responsible.Show more...
