I was looking for a job in a new state. I was contacted about a prospective job offer. They first contacted me via email. They then contacted me via IM about setting up an online interview. The online interview was over an IM chat. They claimed to hire me and said they would train me online. After the second day, they overnighted me a check via FEDEX to set up a home office. I attempted to deposit the check but my bank flagged the check as a fraudulent check. My bank alerted me and said it was a fraudulent check and the bank it came from had their info stolen. Luckily, my information had not been stolen because the check was not processed. I tried contacting the company rep and told them the check was fraudulent and ask where the corporate office was located. The company rep stopped all further contact with me after that.Show more...
