This woman contacted me about a babysitting job. She said she lives in North Carolina and is moving here October 17th. She sent me a check for 900 dollars and said that 400 of it was a payment for The Weekend of the 17th for baby sitting and then asked me to send her 500 through money gram to help her buy kitchen gadgets and have them delivered to my house so they were here when she got to her new place. I realized that this was a scam after I did a little research. However I put the check in the bank already before I realized it was a scam. I will be calling my bank tomorrow morning to sort it out.

Clicked on jobs as pet sitter or house sitter and someone from United Arab Emirates wanted me to buy furniture and put in home paid for later.
Other Coy Neal wanted me to post illegal number of ads to Craigslist.
No legitimate house or pet sitting happened for me. Tried to cancel or deactivate asking for full refund site kept inviting me to look for jobs wouldn’t go to deactivate page. Didn’t answer emails or calls. Spent two whole days trying to post ads for Coy Neal 219-207-3701 who didn’t pay as promised for work that was impossible on Craigslist with limited ads. He offered $500 per week.

He emailed me about needing a babysitter for his daughter and stuff. He said"i  came across your post, I am looking for a baby sitter for my 3 years old daughter, I am coming around with my family for business trip. Would you be interested in becoming a part time baby sitter." I told him that I was interested in the job. He said" Erika.
Thank you for getting back to me, I do not have any problem with drop off at your place, like I told you we are coming for business trip to Georgia, I contacted you as babysitter/ Nanny for my daughter on sitter site, because I want her to get used to the environment around her and also make new friends, she loves to swim and visit the park around once a while. The main reason why I need someone to get this done for us is because we are expecting our baby boy very soon, and it might be a little bit stressful for my wife and for myself because I have to make sure she is fine and get her to the Hospital for her check up and more, while I am doing all this I don't want Merinda to feel lonely or bored, our duration is your area would be for 2 months or more, I might understand if you wont be able to get it done for us for 2 month, but for the time we can have you help us get settled and if you can take care of her for that time then that's fine too.

We will be offering you $300 weekly for 15 hrs a week, I will be offering you more pay because I want you to do the job good with my kid will be needing your services for five hours from (10 am-3 pm or 4 pm-9 pm) for three days in a week or you can schedule a convenient time for you and let me know what time is okay for you to take care of her,  I would be needing the service of a caring babysitter / nanny with positive personality to take good care of her on a part time basis moreover I want to be certain you are fit for this position, you will need to prove yourself to be a reliable, honest, and hard working person, you will start working on same day or next day it’s okay if you prefer to be a live-out nanny as I can drop her at your home every time I do not mind or a live-in nanny if you can take care of her in our home. I told him that sound good and that we could meet up at my house to talk about it more in person. After that he started texting me on my cell phone telling me that he was going to send me the payment early so I can do grocery shopping for him and all that and I actually put it on my bank account I told him I didn't have anything account that I only didn't cash or check and he keeps bothering me to open a bank account as soon as possible cuz he needs me to open one. I didn't give him my information you just to be on the safe side cuz I knew there could be a chance that this was a scam.

I posted a babysitting ad via letgo. "Naida" (I don't believe the person is the real Naida) contacted me through the chat system and asked for my email address. I gave it to her and got her story shortly after. She sent pictures of herself and her driver's license. She stated that her husband had passed away in a car accident and that her daughter was diagnosed with muscular dystropy because of the accident. They stated a date to meet in my city after I sent a little bit about myself along with photo of my drivers licence. She did not mention money until after I sent my information. Naida stated that she wanted to send me a retaining fee for my services and I told her I was not comfortable with that. Later in the same day, she sent me and email requesting that I purchase a wheelchair from a private seller with an additional 2000 dollars that she would be mailing me. I responded and said that I would not be doing that as we have yet to meet. I continued to ask questions which are still unanswered and researched this person and found inconsistencies with the information given. I have reported this person through every means possible and they continue to badger me. I have plainly said that I refuse to deal with them through email and continue to receive emails from them. I intend to use the check as evidence of fraud since the scam is for me to cash the check through my bank and then hand over the money to someone that's going to come to my door. I have not lost any money as I caught onto the scam beforehand but now I am afraid of what is going to happen when they come to my home. I can honestly say that I have no peace of mind and I do not feel safe in my home.

I was also contacted by Mr. Frank McQuuen, who was supposedly in Ontario, Canada for ear surgery but all of the other details were the same. He said he’d pay me $200 per assignment/errand. You will have a minimum of 2 assignments weekly so the the minimum compensation you will be receiving per week is $600. ( THERE’S A PROBLEM WITH HIS MATH!!!)

I was contacted today (2/7/2018) by Frank McQueen first by text stating that he found me on care.com and then wanted my email so he could discuss the opening position with me. The email said, "My name is Mr Frank McQueen I am the Hiring Manager of ADP Payroll Solutions and I'm a Quantity Surveyor and am also into Real Estate i sells and buys properties. As a Quantity Surveyor, I manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures,i need a dedicated and honest Personal assistant that i can always trust to take care of my personal business while I'm busy so let me know if i can trust you with my errands and documents" The original email which I am unable to upload a screenshot of, contains font changes throughout the email. The grammar and informality threw up warning signs everywhere so I googled his name and his company and none of the information that came up either matched or I couldn't find someone by his name living in my state (Georgia). Then I came across this site and say a couple other people that have interacted with 'Mr. Frank McQueen' and I had to add the updated information that I have from him today. Hi, I was contacted by Frank Mcqueen he said he found me on care.com, which I am registered for. He said he was seeking a personal assistant his current assistant is pregnant and he is out of town for ear surgery. Initially I entertained the idea. However, he has asked me to set up a bank account, and that's how money would go in and out. This immediately sent red flags and I started googling. I found this and it was the exact same information I was texted. I believe this is a scam!! Beware!!

Hi, I was just contacted by Pastor for the church God's Voice and als deals with Artworks, and looking for a Nanny. His wife's name is Penny, but these names obviously change as he looks for people to scam. The offer to part-time nanny is so suspicious ie. salary for hours worked. He then wants your full name and mailing address to their housing agent to get an apartment near (My) house, and first week wages will be paid upfront, and be delivered to (me) via USPS mail. SCAMMER!!! As soon as I told him I think he is a scammer, I received no further texts! (Airdrie, Alberta, Canada). I think they may have found my name from local nanny services companies.

I got an email today from someone who saw my ad on care.com named [email protected] she asked that I send my resume. it seems I get a lot of these strange types from care.com. I immediately googled the name and it lead me here. I have sent my resume out one time and I'm concerned that my identity may be used by someone who is not me. who knows what these predators do with it.
