Return of money
Michael Copeland, Jane Dickinson
We were offered money to sell our timeshare, supposedly to a company in Mexico. After sending us closing documents, Michael Copeland told us we had to send the Mexican tax of 7% to an account in a Santander bank in Mexico City This was $2966. After we did this we never were contacted by him again. I emailed, phoned and left numerous messages, faxed the company but no replies at all. Then 1 day just after Daniel Hope from the initial company that made the offer (Bayview Property Management) spoke with me making many excuses for why we hadn't received our funds, we received another set of "final documents to complete the sale" from Frank Wursten. In his communication he stated we needed to send a further $2966 to a different Mexican bank to cover municipal tax. We did NOT send this money.Show more...
