I ordered a TV online from Best Buy on 11/22/2016 and this order was canceled. But a computer-generated order was placed by Best Buy on 11/23/2016 without my consent. This approval on my credit card was done at 3 am (central time). for $762.11. I was not aware of this order. On 11/23 /2016 at about 12:30 pm, I ordered a Samsung TV 60" online from Best Buy website and this TV was delivered on 12/8/2016 at 10:13 am. To cover the unauthorized purchase on my credit card, Best Buy claimed that a second TV was delivered to my home by the same driver at 12:15 pm. Now, anyone with common sense knows that a driver Will not return in two hours later to deliver another TV to a residence. It would make sense to deliver both tvs at the same time. When I called to inform the company that two charges for $762.11 were deducted from my account and that I received one TV it became a battle to get my money back. The original order was duplicated and my signature was placed on the second order to justify their scam. I realized that this was a duplication because I was informed by few representatives at Best Buy that the order done at 3 am was a computer generated order and that this order had the same notes that I requested the rep. to place the online order when I called to confirm later on that day. A computer generated order Will not have a manual note. This is how foolish these people are. Best Buy has refused to refund $762.11 back to my credit card. So, I advise that consumers be aware of this company. They are scammers, working together to steal funds from customers accounts. They would go to any length to justify keeping your funds although it is their error or it may even be an inside scam to take electronics by using other people money. I learned that customer service notes were changed, the IP information on the orders was changed and the time of purchase was changed to backup their scam. I know this for a fact because I know what was told to me by their customer service representatives each time I called. The general administration department is corrupt and this company should be ashamed of the way they handle customers inquiries. Best Buy is a scam!!!!!!Show more...
ant to be refunded. I received one TV and I have my receipt.
I don't recommend them
Took computer into Geek Squad at Best Buy to check for malware/viruses because of pop-ups. After they charged $200 for their repair plan and had the computer a week, they called to say it had a bad hard drive. I said it was a new computer, how does it have a bad hard drive? They said they put it under stringent stress tests that showed that it could go out any day, and I should pay them to put a new hard drive in so that I don't lose everything. I said no thanks, just do what I sent it to you for. When I got it back, they had removed the Kaspersky that I had just paid for a month earlier. They also had removed the Malwarebytes. After I picked it up, I brought it home and started it up, and it was much worse off than when I dropped it off! Too bad I didn't do my research before taking it there or I would have seen the thousands of similar or worse complaints! My bad! One ex-Geek Squad employee even said they finally had to quit because they couldn't handle their dishonest tactics and the way they were always cheating customers and lying to them. Who does business like that?!?!?! Well, Best Buy and Geek Squad do! BEWARE! Their techs in the store are just hourly workers that are not IT people and they do not know what they are doing. Take your computer elsewhere!!! All they are there to do is suck your money and not resolve your issues!Show more...
