Fraudulent job offer
Dec 06, 2016
I received a letter in the mail about being a secret shopper for Walmart. I was sent a check. The letter said to go to a website to activate the check, then to deposit it into my account. I went to my bank to deposit it. My bank said that it was a fraudulent check. So, I'm reporting this company. I'm sure my bank will do the same. I'm taking said letter and giving it to my bank as well. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.
