This has to be a ridiculous customer service I have ever dealt with. Cigarbid tried to make me feel like I was a fool, and I must say that they succeeded. I had bid on a box of Java late, win the bid and they sent me a box of Java maduro. I called their customer service and explained to them that the picture that I had bidded on each clearly showed Java latte robusto with the Connecticut wrapper and they sent me a totally different Cigar with a dark wrapper. They told me I could send it back to them and they would give me a refund but there would be no exchange for the ones that I wanted which was Java latte. She even told me the one Cigar that I tried out I could keep. Thanks for nothing, I didn't like it.
I even asked for a supervisor and the lady told me she was the supervisor and have been with the company for nine years. You think she would have known better but I understand, it is not her fault, it is the fault of whoever trained her and who is running the company.
Please, don't do me any favors by giving me something I don't want. Cigarbid.com should have offered me a box of Java latte in exchange for the return of a box of the Java Maduro. The customer service was very poor because not only did they forget that the customer is always right, but she tried to tell me that the picture is only a representation and that anytime you bid on something that says Java, they will automatically mean maduro. Is that crazy or what?. There are three types of Java by Drew estate, latte, maduro and mint. If this woman worked for me I would have fired her on the spot.… So instead I will just fire the company. I am a shareholder and I vote with my dollars. I spent at least $600 per month on cigars for my clients.
I thought that it was fun to actually bid on cigars and looked at the purchase as a game of sorts. Instead this company gives me a headache and a very bad experience.
Because I was a first time customer, they should have had the insight to deliver excellent customer service to me. I can't not stand having the feeling that I have been played for a fool and will never order from this company again. I suggest that you just pay the full price and order your cigars from Thompson cigars or one of the other companies.
Sometimes I forget what my father taught me;
"You always pay full price and you always pay in advance for first class service. Anything short of that you need to blame yourself for poor Service".
Save your money and stay away from Cigarbid.com.
