I contacted a company in search of a goldendoodle puppy I found on their website: http://fabulousgoldendoodlepup... (still live as I write this complaint). I told them we'd just lost our family dog and wanted to find another, we looked into this breed due to hypoallergenic qualities for my children. We selected an available puppy through email communication and pictures. They had us complete an application which they reviewed and accepted. They told us they were a small company so did not charge as much as others and only accepted wire transfers due to being taken advantage of in the past with bad checks/etc. and were too small to accept credit cards and pay the fees. They said once we paid ($646.00) they would arrange for flight for the dog from VA to FL for us to pick up. Once we did this, they then sent emails from a flight company saying we needed to upgrade the dog crate due to bad flying weather conditions and do another western union transfer. At this point I knew it was a scam. We have all email correspondence, 2 phone numbers and this website. The shipping company (Global logistics shipping LTD) appeared to be a warehouse in Singapore when I googled in later. We notified the bank, the store we completed the transfer at, and filed a police report. This was a very cruel scam as our children are devastated since we had shared the pictures with them. Please help us to catch the people who are doing this scam as it is continuing since website is still active. The phone numbers involved were the one form their website: (740) 204-5551 (Carroll, OH) [email protected] and the shipping place one 1-410-983-9034 (Hydes, MD). Please help us. I can provide all email correspondence if given the opportunity.
