Tried to buy it now, price not lowered by bids
By: Jan 17, 2014I joined the site to be able to get things cheaper, I have bought bids and gotten those, but then I also bid and bought a $5 walmart card, and I never received it. I placed 532 bids on an ipod touch with a retail price of $229, I was told that $.60 per bid that I bid towards that item would be deducted from the price when I chose to buy it now. When I went to buy it now, the amount of bids that I placed was worth more than what the item was worth, and the price was still at the $229. When I called to complain about I was connected to someone who spoke very broken English, and I was told that a supervisor would call me back. I waited a few hours with no call back, and then called back again. I was connected with another person who spoke very broken English again, and she tried to tell me that I hadn't done any of the bidding that I had done and that I didn't have any bids that I said I did. When I explained why I was calling and that I wanted to talk to a manager, she told me to hold and a manager would be on the line shortly. When the so called manager came on the phone, she informed me that the bids that I had purchased on the site weren't worth anything and that is why the bids hadn't been deducted from the price. When I told her that I had purchased the bids on the site, and it said in the policy that each bud was worth $.60, she said that I was mistaken. I then told her that I wanted a full refund on all the bids that I had purchased since they weren't worth anything, but had cost me $154.86. She told me that they best she could refund was $15, I told her that unless the full amount was refunded to my card, I would continue to call, and would also report them to the police and the BBB.

not returning my emails no phone number to call and place compliant their live chat doesn't work
By: Jan 16, 2014I bid and one in item on 12 – 17 – 13 today is 1 – 15 – 14 have tried to contact them to no avail tried to live chat cannot even get that I got taken for my $99 of bids in the price of the item and shipping what can I do for help to get my money back in the item they have on their website on 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed http://www.hotcloseouts2014.co... LOL who can help

First encounter with HotCloseouts2013.com
As I was contemplating a bid package to purchase ,an offer flashed on the screen, $13 special for 75 bids. I clicked the so called special and was offered free spins. I spun twice and supposedly won additional free bids. Combined ,I started with 108 bids. I began bidding but quickly noticed that the larger ticketed items' bids went on incessantly. After bidding on the Smart TV's, laptops, etc. with no success I began bidding on the "10,15,or 25 free bids" bids. I won maybe 4-5 of those. I then bid on a "health and beauty" package and won that. Of the 108 bids I used approximately 43 bids.I now have about 65 bids remaining. The following day while checking my emails I realized they had taken $45 from my Visa, probably instantly. I then began trying to have live chats and leaving messages on the message board for the next week or more.Shortly thereafter my bank alerted me of what they believed to be suspicious activity on my account. I explained to them about Hot Closeouts and closed out that account.Their Fraud Division is now investigating ZBIDDY.com. I, after the fact ,came across Scam Guard and other sites with multiple complaints about HotCloseouts. My losses are not as great as many I've read about but I want justice brought to each and every one against HotCloseouts2013.com, ZBIDDY.com and all of the rest of the CROOKS! I noticed one item has been being bid on since JUNE/2013! I went to the site today for a" live chat", once again to no avail, so I left the CROOKS another message. I won,t hold my breath! Unfortunately the bids keep coming in and the SCAMMERS continue to SCAM the SCAMMEES every millisecond. Today is MONDAY JANUARY 13,2014 Thank You!!!-

can't sign in can't call anyone and its not free to sign up like it says!

fraud on my heath acc
By: Jan 07, 2014penny auction charge my health saving account without my authorization I tried to contact them no number or email. I need refund. frustrate because I did not make transaction. Please help me. I don't believe how they can withdrawn from health care saving account. they charged my account 99 dollars.

Jennifer 'Jen' Myers and Dan Pozniak Libeling and Defaming Ms.Volovic on this post. Amanda threw Dan out under police witness the last time she saw Dan due to his severe abuse of her. Again, all on police record. Ms. JEN MYERS IS CLEARLY OBSESSED with Amanda due to her libelous and slanderous campaign on multiple sites. This is further proved due to Jen Myers providing her name on a libelous, defamatory and bizarre post about Ms. Volovic. A cease and desist and further action may be required if malicious statements and lies about Amanda continue. Ms. Volovic had no knowledge of the public posts in question about Mr. Pozniak.

For those of you that were charged the fraudulent charge, contact your credit card company and let them know. My credit card company would refund the amount, plus they will go after the merchant for the money. Hopefully your credit card company will do the same.

just registered and without any further checking or confirmation, $99 were charged to my CC. i want my money back. not at all a good site. does not have any good options to bid as well
