Received email from company stating that they had seen my resume on line and were recruiting for the following work at home positions: Data Entry Clerk, Accounting Clerk, Accounting Executive, Clerical Administrative, Bookkeeper, Customer Service, Payroll, Medical Billing Coder and Medical Biller Coder. A high hourly salary was offered. Then about a week later received a text from the company representative asking if consent to a briefing and interview by Yahoo Messenger because they were a foreign company and had not yet established an office in US. After yahoo messenger connection was established, representative named above proceeded to give description of company and then conduct a job interview in which real job interview questions were asked and answered. A day later another yahoo messenger conversation was conducted indicating received the position and was now an employee of company. Told there would be a 5-day online training session with supervisor. Then an amount under $1000 was requested in order to load software onto the computer they were sending to complete job duties. This software was required and fully reimbursable once training was complete. Next day another representative stated that additional software was needed on computer before it was shipped that kept track of time when working at home. This software was an additional $2600 and again was fully reimbursable. Both times money was sent via Western Union and both times was told that everything was all set and would be shipping computer and software. On last day, the supervisor said an additional $7000+ was needed to purchase office equipment that was needed to perform job duties. I know of two companies conducting this job scam (there may be others): India Healthcare Solutions, indicated above and The Economist Group Limited. Please be aware that both these companies appear to have legitimate websites.Show more...
