I ordered a shirt online. It came up declined when I know I had money on my card. After 3 times of trying I called the card to find out, therected are 3 transactions pending on my account for the shirt I ordered that I don't even want now because they declined my card but is taking my money anyway. I called the company they have no order info on me.Show more...

On March 22 I put $200.00 on an Insight pre-paid Visa card. I then signed up for overdraft protection. On April 1 I attempted to use the card to pay an emergency veterinarian bill of $199.35. All but 35 CENTS of the charge was DENIED. I was forced to pay with another card. After calling customer service I was told my card balance was ZERO. (there is a $1.00 charge EACH TIME you need customer service help!) I was told the veterinarian placed a $200.00 "pre-authorization/hold" on my card, which I knew was not true. Still I phoned them to confirm this.
Another call to customer service. Now, they requested the veterinarian fax them a letter on company letterhead, with several other requirements for inclusion in the fax. They also provided the fax number. The veterinarian complied and faxed this immediately as requested. The following day, my account was still listed as having a "0" balance. Another call to customer service; they stated they never received the fax. I checked the fax number on their web site, which was different than the one they provided me, and re-phoned the veterinarian to request a second fax to this other number.
The next day, same thing. My account was listed as having "0" balance. For the next call to customer service, I was told the money would be credited to my account after 7 business days. At the END of the 7th business day I once again checked my balance, it was still "0".
This time customer service informed me that my money would not be available until 11:59 p.m. central time on the seventh business day.
