On 8/16/2016 Mr. Kenton borrowed nearly $1000.00 to have his work truck repaired. There was an understanding he would have it returned by the end of the month so no finance charges would accrue. On 8/20/16 he stated he needed more money to cover the costs of repairs. He borrowed nearly $1500 from a disabled female who has no ability to earn the funds and repay these loans. He then attacked her in public over a conversation about a much larger amount of money that did not exist and she had no access to. She ran from him, he chased her with his truck assaulting her multiple times and attempting to force her in his truck. Due to it being in a high traffic area she was able to escape his hold with his saying ' just get in the truck, I don't want the police called'. After 5 or more times of him chasing her and hiding in bushes to grab her, a gentleman intervened and stopped him. The man who stopped him called police in the wrong county of where it happened, was dispatched to the correct county. The report was made with Mr. Kenton only being charged with assault. Not for attempted kidnapping, or a felony assault as he attempted to pull her into the truck with his arm around her neck.Show more...
