Multi-Level Marketing Scams and Complaints

Multi-level-marketing (MLM) scams have been around for a terrifically long time and definitely predate the internet, but they've remained just as popular today as they ever were. Most of today's MLM scams involve the promise of a job that only requires that someone send in some money for the "employment package" after which they will make tons of money getting other people to sign up for the same package. These MLM opportunities are always scams because it's only the person at the top of the pyramid of "workers" who makes any money.
