Tried to login to my aol mail account. message popup said to call number?????
Tried to log in again, different number pops up, then I called it. assured me they were microsoft technical support. once he logged into my computer to assist me to get into AOL, he found many errors and said he could fix like new for $499. I was very cautious, but I had 1100+ pictures of my only daughter on it. She passed away June 10, 2011 from an overdose of chemo for leukemia. I was so concerned to save my pictures and would have done what ever I had to do to save them. I did not have them backed up. Here are several of the numbers that came into my home phone. 1-866-315-4275, 1888-546-5168, and 1-877-989-3268. Paid with bank card. Then next day computer still not right. I called the number on the letterhead for Appwizsolutions, 1-855-795-8474. Wanted me to pay another $399. He would only take cash by Western union. I sent total of $407 by Western union to a Shane Watson in India.
Received another call again a couple days later because it still wasn't right. I told the person on the phone he was a scam and he had stolen my money. He admitted it and said he was a college student in California to become an engineer. I told him to get a new job. He promised he would pay me the money back but I had to give him 10-15 days and to please not report him. I agreed on the phone but later figured he would take this time to vanish. He said he worked for Apwizsolutions, but they were out of business and he was doing this with a couple friends on their own. I told him I was a retired Export Compliance Officer and he could pay a large sum plus time in jail if he got caught. That is when he confessed all this information. He said he was only 20 years old and he was Indian from India. If you need additional numbers, I am sure there are but not sure which ones are from scammers. Multiple people would call and appologize for what the last person did and was going to fix all my proplems. I then told him I would not pay another penny and was going to report to the FBI. I do have my bank trying to get my $499 back but unless these people are caught, no hope of getting my $399 back. I can be reached at 419-638-2634 and you can leave a message and I will return the call. Just give me brief message what concerns you want me to help with.
All my money back
