This internet based company is repeatedly ripping off customers. If you question them they laugh at you, mock you, swear at you and are completely abrasive. If you need examples, there are a myriad of complaints against this company throughout the internet. Try Facebook, Twitter, Site Jabber, Yelp and I'm sure there are many more.
Also I noted when you go to this site there are nothing but glowing, positive reviews. I tried to post a negative review and it was a no show. It's not too hard to guess where their positive reviews came from.
They send you a prepaid label for shipping your glasses and then charge you $12 postage for them to return them. They charged me $52 before they sent my prescription sunglasses to the lab. All they needed was the replacement of one temple extension ( a piece of plastic that slips on). I sent them in on July, 14 and they tell me it will be two more weeks before I get them back.
Here is just one complaint I took from the internet:
·" I found Opticfast online to repair a pair of glasses that were snapped in half. They requested that I send them the glasses, then they sent me a quote for the repair. I sent the check. They took 2 weeks to cash it then another month to repair the glasses. I didn't get my glasses back for almost 2 months. When they did arrive they were simply glued together. The glue was obvious and the glasses are not wearable. I requested a refund because I could have done this myself and they were rude, insulted me, taunted me, and refused to refund me. I paid over $85 to simply have my glasses glued back together. When they sent me the quote, the did not explain how they planned on fixing them. Had they, I would have simply asked to have my glasses returned. I would not have paid $85 for them to poorly glue my glasses back together. Actual quote from customer service: Whether or not you could have done it or not is not relevant. I could have made shrimp scampi last night for dinner but I choose to go to a restaurant to have someone make it for me".
All money back if they are not returned in good working condition.
