This is the email that I responded to and then they asked me to add Yahoo IM to chat with the boss Tim Richmond about the position. He told me he would send me a check to purchase the equipment I need to work from home and I was to buy it from one specific company. After checking out the phone number he had given on Google I found it was a scam. The number pulled up on scamguard.com for the same exact scenario.

I received something similar except supposedly from the firm KPMG Global. I also got an email about having an "interview" over Google hangouts. I reported the email and I'm about to block the phone number. It's the unfortunate hazard of looking for a job and needing to post your info online for anyone to find.

This happened to me also...except I received a cashier's check for $3100 to buy the equipment. I haven't taken it to the bank yet. Has anyone else received a check?
