So I was trying to log into Bank of America online banking and a pop up showed to take a quick survey and you'll receive a free watch from QMaxWatch.com but I had to pay $5.99 S&H.. Little did I know that they would charge me $95 later.. I immediately contacted Bank of America customer service and they connected me to QMaxWatch customer service.. Wait time was approximately 10mins and a customer service rep (Steven), who after asking for my zip code and full name explained that I agreed to purchase the watch for $5.99 (trial period) and if I didn't want the watch I should've returned it in 14 days.. Bullshit!!! He then gave me a cancellation confirmation # and said they would credit only $65 (plus I get to keep their cheap ass shit) in 3-7 business days.. We'll see if they do.. I call bullshit!!!

After I filled out a survey online I was suppose to get a free gift. After I took the time to fill out the survey, one QMaxWatch for free was one of the options (I only had to pay for shipping and Handling). After a while an additional charge of $95 (beyond the original s&h) showed up on my bank account. I called QMaxWatch and complained & they refunded the $95 with a demand that I return the watch in the original packaging at my own expense (as I don't have some yellow return envelope they claim came with the watch). They claim it was only for a trial period. That is NOT the way it was offered. It was offered as an appreciation gift for filling out the survey.

Filled out survey online told I would receive a watch for $5.99 and it was debited from my account. Now I received a charge for $95 from Qmax Watch - the watch I received is not even worth $95.
Total scam - this was linked to my bank account log in?

I thought I was being given a gift for doing a survey but it turns out the same as the rest of the people here. The least we should be able to do is sue for our time used to fill out the phony survey and receive a complete refund of our shipping and the later cost plus as I said our time for filling out the survey. And punitive damages for the stress

Sorry, but you did authorize more charges. They're on every website called TERMS & CONDITIONS or TERMS & AGREEMENTS. You must ALWAYS read these before agreeing to pay for anything, signing for anything or giving consent to anything. Would you ever sign a contract without reading it? NO you shouldn't. What if in the middle of the contract it's written that in 60 days you will forfeit all of your assets? Right. Point is, read before you buy. Sorry to say but, legally, you cannot demand your money back when you clicked the little box on the website stating "Do you agree to the terms & conditions?" And if you try demanding a refund or reversing/disputing the charges, the website will provide the proof that you did, in fact, agree to the terms & conditions (even if you did not read them or click anything because it's clearly visible on the home page of every sellers website), making the sale valid and consented and your bank will keep the charges on. QMax just billed me the same $95 for a "free gift" for completing a survey. It's actually a OMAX watch that Amazon sells for $20-$30. Hopefully I'll receive a refund as someone else did. Otherwise it's on to the Attorney General of my state and California where they are located. Phone 888-781-8440.
