Debt Collector Scam
Dec 15, 2016
A representative from Reed and Associates called requesting payment on a payday loan made in Oct 2011. We requested documentation of said collection; which, was never produced. They started calling parents and ex-wife threatening court, warrant for arrest, etc. We called on 12/14/16 and spoke with the scam artists. My husband paid $176.99 with an additional amount of $300 to come out in Jan 2017. Husband called the bank he supposedly made the loan in 2011, the account was closed in 2006. Don't fall for this BS.
