Said they were Apple Tech Support but are not
Jun 28, 2014
I needed help with iPad repair--they had me plug it into my computer and asked me to let them repair remotely. They then said my computer and iPad had been hacked, that's why my iPad wasn't working. They said they could repair the problems for $379.99 and I gave my credit card. After hours on the phone nothing was repaired--they said they would call back at 9am today and never called.
I got the iPad repaired at the Apple store today. I called Apple and they said they never had a support call from me yesterday, and that my system has NOT been hacked.
