I didn't go for the deal
Lauria makes a case for her system on the basis of her success as an author. There's a lengthy process of watching her videos, download a free slide show that doesn't work, then fill in an application, and wait for their selection process to see if you the potential author is a fit. I got "selected", talked to Nancy Ma a few days ago. She wanted to know how much I make and what I want to make, how I can use Angela Lauria's process to create a book and start selling it, but not focus on book sales but coaching package sales. After that, watch another video of Lauria going over the hook. So she talks about the $15000 investment in her 9 week course. Her math is flip flopping all over. She states that it's normal for publishers to take 90% of the book sales proceeds, that authors actually make money on ancillary activities and products. She brags about how homeless people have scrounged up the 15k and how she's helped them gain some vague level of succes. I researched Nancy's "book" and found it didn't even have 1 review on good reads, no standing on Amazon at all. There's a website that shows Lauria's published "bestseller" clients rank in the 400,000's level and lower. My objection to Nancy Ma via text was met with "well didn't you say you wanted to make 64k per month? The 15k is the investment to get thete." I invite you to check it out for yourselves. Lauria also promotes herself as some sort of champion of progressivism and how she makes sure to work with those populations that get overlooked by the publishing establishment.
