We got an e-mail in response to a query to Newsweek magazine regarding account access. The e-mail contained a link (below) that, when clicking, eventually allowed someone to "remote" into my computer and manipulate the desktop.
They gained access through a set of confusing instructions to my Mom and did Not specifically ask for permission to access my machine.
