I called an amazon # supplied by googling. Talked to a "Rick Martin" concerning an order I had that was being delivered to the wrong place. He told me that my account was closed for someone out of New Mexico having ordered a $1200 TV set on my account. He took my information then said they would have to report
to the Federal authorities. He then referred me to a person to be able to get on my Chromebook. After getting some of my information he said that there were people who could fix it for a cost of $999. I contacted this person amed "Austin Martin". All the people I spoke to had Indian accents. They told me I would have to send the money either in a cashiers check or money order the next day.
After I got off the phone I got another number for Amazon and talked to "Dan". I told him what happened and he said no one had tried to access my account for a TV.
By then I got the billing from XO to send the money to 1511 Orange Dr. #20, Bakersfield, CA. 93305. I looked the address up on my android phone, it looks like an apartment or motel.
I did not understand why they had to have the cash item sent by priority mail, so I did not send the money. Also because of the other things I mentioned earlier.
Please close these people down.
